Environmental protection & sustainability

Targeted sustainability management

The MEGGLE Group takes responsibility for environmental protection. We are committed to further promoting environmental protection at all levels of the company. We were one of the first companies in the Bavarian dairy industry to integrate a certified environmental management system into our own quality management. Targeted sustainability management and the associated implementation of legal requirements and innovations (such as the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act) are particularly important to us.

Privacy

Handling data responsibility

The data and information entrusted to us are given special protection. The MEGGLE Group therefore handles these sensitively and responsibly and takes targeted technical and organisational measures to protect them from misuse, sharing, unauthorised processing or deletion.

Labour Law

Safety and health at work

In addition to naturally complying with labour law requirements, the MEGGLE Group pursues innovative approaches to creating a safe and healthy working environment.

Competition Law

Compliance with competition law regulations

In the spirit of fair competition, the MEGGLE Group sees compliance with all international competition law regulations by all employees and managers as an important basic principle of its own business activities.

Corruption prevention

Effective measures to prevent corruption

We are committed to fighting corruption, bribery and other forms of unfair competition. Violations will not be tolerated by the MEGGLE Group and will be sanctioned with appropriate consequences.

The Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains

Corporate due diligence in supply chains

The Act on Corporate Due Diligence Obligations in Supply Chains obliges companies to observe human rights and environmental due diligence obligations in an appropriate manner in their supply chain. The law is applicable to MEGGLE as of January 1st 2024, and our first report to the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA) will be published at the end of the first quarter of the following year. For further information, please download our Declaration of Principles.

Reports of possible violations of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act, i.e. in particular indications of human rights or environmental risks or indications of compliance with human rights-related or environmental obligations, which should be available at one of our direct suppliers or in our company itself, can be transmitted to the Compliance Office at any time via our MEGGLE whistleblower system confidentially or, if desired, anonymously. The receipt of a tip will be confirmed accordingly and processed by the Human Rights Officer. This is independent of instructions in processing and guarantees confidentiality. In addition, the regulations on our whistleblower system apply.
