The founding of the foundation
In order to ensure the continued existence and independence of the MEGGLE Group and at the same time reaffirm the company’s connection to the Wasserburg am Inn location, the region and the employees, Toni Meggle (†) transferred his shares in the MEGGLE AG to the Toni Meggle Foundation he founded in 2019.

The establishment of the Toni Meggle Foundation illustrates the extraordinary importance that both Marina and Toni Meggle as well as the MEGGLE Group attach to fulfilling their social responsibilities. The key concerns of the Toni Meggle Foundation include the long-term preservation of jobs for current and future generations of employees as well as the constant further development of the group of companies while preserving the regional, traditional origins.

It is with great regret and deep sadness that we have said goodbye to our long-standing Chairman of the Foundation’s Board, Toni Meggle. His extraordinary entrepreneurial flair, visionary leadership and tireless commitment have shaped the MEGGLE Group for decades and made it a globally recognised company. Toni Meggle was not only an outstanding entrepreneur, but also an inspiring personality who always acted with heart and foresight. His legacy will live on in the corporate philosophy and values that define MEGGLE.
At his side, Marina Meggle, as his closest advisor and Deputy Chairwoman of the Foundation’s Board, has made a significant contribution to the positive development of the company. Together, Marina and Toni Meggle laid the foundation for the future-oriented and successful direction of the MEGGLE Group—a legacy that lives on in their commitment. With her determination, her vision and her deep connection to MEGGLE, she will now take over the management as Chairwoman and continue her husband’s vision.
