Terms of use

MEGGLE Content

The MEGGLE company (hereinafter referred to as “MEGGLE”) named in the imprint provides various materials (in particular images, product illustrations, computer images, graphics, representations, texts, layouts, sound, video and animation files as well as trademarks and logos – hereinafter referred to as “content”) to third parties like trading partners and press organs via this website for further use.

All trademarks, copyrights, database rights and other intellectual property rights in the contents of the website, together with the underlying software code, belong either to the MEGGLE company named in the imprint or to its licensors.

The use and use of the content are subject exclusively to the following terms of use:

  • The content may only be used for press and advertising purposes in connection with the reporting on or presentation of MEGGLE and/or MEGGLE products. The content may be used online and offline for all media. Restrictions on the right of use can result from the respective information on a Content (e.g. time limit). MEGGLE has the right to revoke or terminate the use permitted hereunder at any time. In this case, the content as well as all reproductions and adaptations must be deleted immediately and removed from the market. The permission to use does not include the granting of a right of use in rem.
  • In order to ensure a high-quality and uniform brand identity, only the current content may be used for the purposes specified in Section 1. MEGGLE assumes no liability for the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of the content provided on the Internet pages. In all other respects, Section 8 applies.
  • MEGGLE has to be named as the rights holder with the company name mentioned in the imprint: e.g. MEGGLE GmbH & Co. KG or MEGGLE Group GmbH.
  • The content may not be changed without the prior consent of MEGGLE. This does not apply to changes in the image size (with unaltered size ratios) and those changes that do not affect the color and display quality of the content more than insignificantly.
  • Use of the content in accordance with these terms of use is free of charge. Use for purposes other than those specified in section 1 requires the prior written consent of MEGGLE.
  • Uses that are likely to damage the reputation of MEGGLE or MEGGLE products are not permitted. This applies in particular, but not only, to use in connection with discriminatory, insulting, defamatory or illegal content.
  • The transfer of the content as well as its reproductions to third parties is only permitted if this is necessary for the purposes specified in Section 1. Use of the content by third parties is subject to these terms of use. The inclusion of these terms of use must be ensured when passing on the content.
  • MEGGLE’s liability for the slightly negligent breach of obligations that are not essential contractual obligations is always excluded. MEGGLE’s liability for slightly negligent breaches of essential contractual obligations is limited to the damage foreseeable and typical at the time of conclusion of the contract, unless the damage consists of injury to life, limb or health. Essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfilment is essential for the proper execution of the contract in the first place and on whose compliance the contractual partner may regularly rely. Statutory liability provisions, in particular facilitations of MEGGLE’s liability for the free provision of content (loan/donation), shall otherwise remain unaffected.
  • MEGGLE cannot completely rule out the risk of computer viruses or undetected intrusion into its websites and alteration of the data there. The user is obliged to test downloaded files for infection with computer viruses before executing or opening them.
  • These terms of use are governed by German law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising out of or in connection with the granting of rights of use under these terms of use is the registered office of MEGGLE. Should individual provisions of these terms of use be or become invalid or unenforceable, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
