Toni Meggle received an award for his life’s work

Following a two-year Corona break, the award ceremony of the CSU Family Lions took place on July 25, 2022. Toni Meggle was honoured for his life’s work at a celebratory gala.

Attended by roughly 150 invited guests and met with standing ovation, Toni Meggle accepted the coveted ‘Family Lion’ business award from the CSU district chapters Rosenheim (city and region) for his life’s work. The prize, which was awarded this year at the Schattdecor’s venue in Rohrdorf, honours particularly family-friendly companies from the region. In her laudatory speech for Toni Meggle’s life’s work, the former mayor of Rosenheim, Gabriele Bauer, praised the entrepreneur’s pioneering spirit: ‘The rise to a global player is undoubtedly linked to the name Toni Meggle.’ She also emphasised MEGGLE’s wealth of innovation, evident in the development and associated diversity of the product range, and, in addition to the portioned butter, also highlighted the herb butter and the popular filled baguettes, all of which were launched under the leadership of Toni Meggle. In her speech, the former mayor also emphasised the relevance of the MEGGLE Founders Award, which encourages people to start businesses and creates further growth in the region. The Founders Award, initiated by Toni Meggle in 2012, is designed to highlight the importance of company founders for the region and to actively support them.
