Dairy RAJO s.r.o. operates as MEGGLE Slovakia s. r. o.
RAJO s.r.o. will in future be known as MEGGLE Slovakia s. r. o., but will continue to produce and sell its products under the well-known brand name.
The MEGGLE Group has owned the long-established Slovakian company RAJO s.r.o. for over 20 years. Over the past two decades, the Group’s subsidiary has developed extremely positively. Since 2 April 2024, RAJO’s affiliation will also be reflected in the company’s name. The dairy will then operate as MEGGLE Slovakia s. r. o.. With Matthias Oettel, CEO of MEGGLE Group GmbH, Erwin Horvath and Branislav Kušnierik, who are both based at the company headquarters in Bratislava, three experienced managers will form the board of directors.
The name change has no effect on the ownership structure, the production site or the around 400 employees. The products will also continue to be manufactured under the rajo and MEGGLE brand names and sold in south-east Europe. “For customers in Slovakia, the rajo brand stands for maximum enjoyment and outstanding quality. That’s why we’re keeping the product name, but bringing our colleagues in Slovakia even closer to the MEGGLE Group in organisational terms,” explains Matthias Oettel. With this change of name, the Slovakian production site follows in the steps already taken within the Group. Previously, Stegmann Emmentaler Käsereien and M-Back changed their company names to MEGGLE Cheese and MEGGLE Bakery in order to emphasise their membership of the MEGGLE Group both internally and externally.
