New administrative building for the Wasserburg site

MEGGLE continues to invest consistently in the company’s future and, with a new, modern administrative building, is creating space for growth, efficient collaboration, and an attractive work environment. Against the backdrop of numerous innovative projects and the resulting expansion of the workforce, the need for additional office space has increased significantly in recent years.
In light of this development, the Toni Meggle Foundation and MEGGLE’s management have decided to construct a new administrative building. The board of the Toni Meggle Foundation is overseeing the planning, financing, and construction of the building, thereby underscoring its long-term commitment to the location and to MEGGLE as a company. Completion of the new building is scheduled for spring 2028.
“With the new administrative building, we are ensuring that we can continue to optimally drive our successful growth and innovation projects in the years to come. Modern work environments, short communication channels, and efficient structures are key success factors for MEGGLE—both today and tomorrow,” explains Matthias Oettel, CEO of MEGGLE Holding SE.
With approximately 150 workstations spread across three levels, the new building offers a modern, functional work environment with short walkways and clear layouts. Common and meeting areas, which are intentionally designed for flexible use, promote both focused work and interdisciplinary, networked collaboration.
In addition, the new administrative building sends a clear signal in favor of future-oriented, environmentally conscious mobility: The more than 30 parking spaces in the underground garage will be fully equipped with electric charging stations. Additional bicycle parking spaces encourage the use of bicycles, especially for short and medium-distance trips. A photovoltaic system on the roof of the new building complements the building concept as another environmentally conscious measure and contributes to the building’s sustainable energy supply.
Once the current basement work and the pouring of the floor slab are complete, the structural construction phase, interior finishing, and technical installations will follow in the coming months. With the new administrative building, MEGGLE is demonstrating its commitment to the future viability of the Wasserburg location—and to a work environment that puts people first.
